Procedura
Passo 1
- Check if the key is the comfort access one to be able to perform the battery replacement.
- Ensure when you are replacing the battery that you obtain the right battery or the key will not work properly.
Passo 2
- Press the small button on the side of the key.
- Remove the physical key from the fob.
Passo 3
- Insert a small flathead screwdriver into the key blade slot.
- Gently twist to pry open the key fob cover.
- Avoid using excessive force to prevent damage to the plastic cover.
Passo 4
- Carefully remove the back cover of the key fob.
- Gently remove the old CR2032 battery.
Passo 5
- Insert the new CR2032 battery, positive (+) side facing upward.
- Ensure the battery is properly aligned to guarantee functionality.
Passo 6
- Reattach the back cover.
- Press firmly until you hear it click securely into place.
- Confirm the cover snaps securely to prevent any functionality issues.
- Reinsert the key blade into the key fob.
- Press until it locks securely.
- Test out the key functions to see if everything’s working, and it should be ready for use.
